AMSOIL is looking for a Pricing Manager In this role you will play a critical role in driving growth and improving profits through strategic price management. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), you will work with the marketing team, SBU leaders, and cross-functional teams to define and manage effective pricing strategies for each business and product line we serve. This is a remote, work-from-home position but will require a monthly trip to our corporate headquarters in Superior, WI.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product marketers to select and implement the most appropriate pricing strategy for their portfolios and the products within them.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and product development, to understand their pricing needs and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain pricing models and tools to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Assist in pricing negotiations with key customers or partners to optimize deal terms.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, pricing best practices, and regulatory changes that may impact pricing strategies.
  • Provide regular reports and presentations to senior management on pricing performance and strategy effectiveness.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' of experience in pricing management
  • Proven supervisory experience
  • Strong analytical skills to make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication skills including presentation skills
  • Deep understanding of pricing models
  • Experience developing business cases, costing and profitability analyses, pricing analysis and recommendations
  • Experience in manufacturing industry
  • Experience and understanding of global business environment
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
