LPNs: $40-$45/hr (DOE) Seeking Passionate and Dependable Nurses Flexible schedule Competitive Pay Access to UKG Wallet Travel opportunities at any of our locations outside the Seattle, WA area, if interested Mileage/lodging may be available for work outside of the Seattle area Mileage Reimbursement for commutes over 20 miles Must work a minimum of 3 shifts per month, 8 or 12-hour shifts Free training available to help you launch your nursing career with Avamere As a float Nurse, you will support Avamere at our skilled nursing facility in the Seattle, WA community Set a schedule that works best for you and make a difference for seniors Employee Perks: Access to Avamere's Employee Assistance Program (EAP), offering discounts on services like counseling and loans Cell phone discounts through several different carriers Concert and event ticket discounts Washington Sick Pay 401(k) plan Flexible and easy scheduling - single point contact Responsibilities: Develop and maintain rapport with nursing staff, other department personnel, residents, family members, and all other individuals involved in resident's care. Prepare and administer medications and review medication cards for completeness and accuracy. Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care Supervise execution of the resident plan of care and participate in development of the plan of care Communicate changes in patients' clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate Qualifications: Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university. Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN in this state. Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities. Must chart nurses' notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident and resident's response to care. Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems. Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
