Our privately owned practice is seeking a Patient Coordinator who enjoys a fast pace environment. We value hard work, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills when looking for applicants. Responsibilities

Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; and answering patients' questions.

Requires regular and predictable attendance.

Follows up with referring doctors and patients to communicate patient's treatment status

Educate patients on recommended treatment

Follows the schedule protocols for follow-ups with patients to get treatment scheduled

Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.

Completes Medical Consults for patients as needed

Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.

Provides knowledge of third-party financing to patients and educates patients on financial commitments of treatment.

Knowledge of dental insurance to explain cost breakdown to patients.

Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.

Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; and reporting needed changes.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Provides excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Dental: 1 year (Preferred)

Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)

Sales Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
