Maintain the overall cleanliness of the public areas of the company including, but not limited to, all Lobby areas, restrooms, elevators, business center, public Spa areas, employee restrooms, Executive offices, and retail outlets.

Attendant Responsibilities:
  • Clean restrooms as needed and public space areas
  • replenishing supplies (soap, toilet paper, towels, etc.)
  • cleaning /sanitizing counters, sinks, toilets, partitions, and emptying trash and damp mopping floors.
  • Clean public space areas
  • removing debris (trash, paper, glasses, plates, etc.), vacuuming / sweeping /mopping floors, and dusting.
  • Delivering/stocking housekeeping supplies to storage closets and other required areas.
  • Report any maintenance needs to hotel management and/or the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Vacuum all carpet on a daily basis or more often as necessary
  • Deep clean lobby, hallways, public areas, etc. as directed
  • Move furniture as needed.
  • Respond and speak clearly to guest requests in a pleasant and professional manner.
  • Attend daily pre-shift meetings.
Ability to:
  • Communicate in the primary language in a clear, concise, grammatically correct, pleasant, and sincere manner.
  • Understand requests and correctly, creatively, and expediently carry them out.
  • Be outgoing, friendly, and patient even after working long hours.
  • Handle multiple requests with poise, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Understand and practice the policies of The Seagate Hotel.
  • Use good judgment at all times.
  • Work long hours when necessary and be flexible with schedule. Be able to work weekends and nights and holidays as necessary.
  • Stand and walk for extended hours.
  • Lift, carry and push up to 30 pounds and be able to push carts up to 250 pounds.
Position Instructions:
  • If you need to change into your uniform, use the designated area as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper (you must be in uniform before you clock in for work).
  • Be quiet in hallways; guests may be sleeping.
  • Punch your time card to clock out while you are still in uniform.
  • After clocking out, use the designated area if you need to change out of uniform.
  • When you leave for the day, use the employee entrance.
  • Obtain any special projects from the Housekeeper department supervisor as soon as possible.
  • Sign for your keys. Keep the sub-master key on your person
  • NEVER ALLOW ANYONE ELSE TO USE YOUR KEYS.
