TMS Technician

Under direct supervision of a physician, assists Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation patients receiving the prescribed treatment according to established procedures and protocols. The TMS tech also assists the TMS Coordinator in scheduling of services, offers approved education and guidance for treatment-related questions; provides excellent customer service before, during and after treatment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Facilitate the flow of patients through the office or clinic, and communicate internally as appropriate to coordinate services and maintain utilization of TMS equipment at capacity.
• Under direct supervision of a physician, assists Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation patients in receiving the prescribed treatment according to established procedures and protocols.
• Document patient treatment history, record vital signs and allergies/contraindications as needed, and enter data in EHR and TMS software as needed.
• When position is filled with an LPN, may perform additional nursing duties in the Medical Outpatient Department in tandem with other nursing staff.
• Operate the TMS equipment in accordance with training, certification, and according to the prescribed treatment and established procedures and protocols.
• Review medical records for required documentation, including updating release of information authorization forms.
• Maintain knowledge of TMS treatment procedures and protocols and attend/ receive all required training and certifications.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• LPN Preferred
• Two years or more of mental health and medical management experience
• Demonstrated computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), electronic medication and medical records data entry
• Experience addressing any patient's medical conditions or symptoms, including basic life support certification
• Experience with operating a medical/mechanical device

Additionally, you are hereby authorized to make any investigation of my personal history, educational background, military record,
motor vehicle records, criminal records, and credit history through an investigative or credit agency or bureau of your choice. I
authorize the release of this information by the appropriate agencies to the investigating service. I authorize and give permission for
the individuals listed as references to provide written information and/or verbally discuss my background with Vera French
Community Mental Health Center, or any of its affiliates.

This authorization, in original or copy form, shall be valid for this and any future reports and updates that may be required.
I understand that passing the background check is a condition of employment. A negative background check can be grounds for
dismissal, even if an offer has been made to me and I have been hired.
