Position Title: IT Specialist Location: Hartford, CT Pay: $27-32, hourly Schedule: M-F, 8-4pm, (35 hour work week) In Office, 5 days a week 1 hour lunch Benefits: 401(k) Health Dental Vision Position Details: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair network hardware, software, and cabling. Identify and troubleshoot wireless connectivity issues and software application errors. Installation, maintenance and ongoing support of our wireless network platforms. Work with members of the end-user community and staff to assist them in understanding and utilizing network services and resources Maintain an orderly networking office and equipment storage area. Traveling to customer sites. Provide after-hours network support on a periodic on-call basis. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or designee Qualifications: At least (5) years of work experience in computer technical support., Microsoft certifications is a plus Must have excellent working knowledge of Desktop & laptop computers, computer architecture, Windows operating systems. Demonstrated knowledge of networking protocols and ability to triage network related service requests. Ability to be flexible and handle changing priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with administration, staff and other personnel.
