The IT Support Technicians job responsibilities are as follows, but not limited to, the following:
  • Provide end user support for Staff and on a consulting basis. This includes remote and onsite support.
  • Troubleshoot, and resolve issues regarding Windows desktops and associated business applications.
  • Support all Microsoft O365, third party and custom-built applications.
  • Log calls in incident tracking system, review and follow up with open issues, Experience with AWS, AZURE, VMWare a plus.
  • Must be able to work independently and possess the knowledge to handle a wide range of IT responsibilities and maintain a high level of attention to detail; and any other responsibilities assigned by the IT Director.
  • Associates or bachelors degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Certifications are preferred, but not required.
  • Working knowledge and expertise with a variety of software, hardware, and applications.
  • Willingness to solve complicated problems and see projects through to completion.
  • Analytical skills to study problems and records and identify solutions.
  • Team-oriented attitude to help other colleagues and departments with technical problems.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage time and effectively prioritize numerous projects at one time.
