If you are a licensed pharmacy technician with a year or more of experience in a sterile compounding environment, please consider working at one of the most innovative animal hospitals in the country.

As a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician at Angell you will be working with cutting edge technology compounding specialized and complex therapies within our newly built clean room environment. Some responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician - Sterile Compounding include:

  • Maintenance of the hazardous compounding labs to 797 and 800 requirements
  • Review and completion of orders under the supervision of the pharmacist
  • Compounding of hazardous and sterile drug products using proper technique and personal protective equipment
  • Compliance with all standard operating procedures within the hazardous compounding labs
  • Documentation of compounded preparation and environmental monitoring data
  • Collaboration with veterinarians to meet hazardous and sterile compounded preparation needs
  • Fielding basic questions related to compounded preparations and available lab services
  • Inventory management within the hazardous compounding labs
