Family Medicine Physician - Sacramento, CA

Compensation: $120 - $150 hourly

Part-time: 2 to 3 days per week Monday - Friday / Every Saturday 4 - 8 hours

Operating Hours:Monday - Friday |  8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Overview: Nexus HR seeks a family medicine physician for a small general practice clinic. We're seeking a compassionate and skilled provider interested in working in an incredibly diverse and agile environment.

About the Job: Responsibilities include patient care for all ages, chronic disease management, and preventive health. Flexible schedule, supportive work environment, and competitive compensation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide Primary Care to patients

  • Administers preliminary assessment and diagnosis for patients.

  • Promote health education, hygiene, and disease prevention.

  • Intake records and maintains patient information for diagnostic and referral as needed.

  • Request laboratory tests and procedures as an aid in diagnostic procedures.

  • Educate patients and significant parties about procedures and test results.

  • Develop health programs that are patient-specific using historical data.

  • Monitor, adapt, and administer individualized healthcare programs

  • Use patient health data for medical analysis and offer comprehensive wellness exams.

  • Administer vaccinations as needed

  • Educate patients and other significant parties about health management and prevention of diseases.

  • Refer and recommend patients to specialists for specific treatment/procedures

  • Keeping updated on recent medical developments

Qualifications:

  • 2 years experience as a Family Medicine practitioner

  • Family Medicine internship and residency

  • Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine

  • Licensed to practice in California

  • Able to work in Sacramento, CA
