Pittsburg Unified School District (PUSD) is a K-12 district that serves the community of Pittsburg, California. PUSD is approximately 50 minutes from downtown San Francisco with a direct line on Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART). Pittsburg Unified School District serves more than 11,000 students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. The District also provides our community with an outstanding public preschool program and award-winning adult education school (PAEC).

The District Comprises:
8 Elementary Schools, 3 Junior High Schools, 1 Comprehensive High School, 1 Alternative Education High School, Adult Education, Independent study, Alternative learning experiences, and Early Childhood Education.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Two-year degree in a computer related discipline or recent equivalent experience in the administration of complex local area networks, wide area networks, and enterprise wireless networks.
• Five years of experience maintaining and installing networked computer systems in a Microsoft environment with emphasis on PC's and compatibles.
• Five years of experience maintaining Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) systems.
• Five years of experience configuring and administering Google and Microsoft's collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of voice, data, and video telecommunications technology, and network hardware and software.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate or Professional Certifications, or equivalent industry certifications is highly desirable.
EQUIPMENT & LICENSE:
• Must possess a valid California driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Evidence of appropriate insurance based on DMV regulations.
• Drive a personal vehicle to conduct work as required by the position.
• Criminal justice fingerprint clearance.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Work year: 260 Days
