Full Heart Family Therapy is seeking a skilled psychotherapist to join our team specializing in sex addiction treatment. Our focus at Full Heart is providing therapy for individuals, partners, and couples impacted by trauma and addiction within a relational framework. Strong communication and collaboration within our team enhance our ability to deliver effective interventions throughout the treatment process. Previous experience working with couples is advantageous for this role. The therapist will have the option to work on-site at our office or remotely. Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A valid psychotherapy license in the state of Iowa is a mandatory requirement for this position. Responsibilities: • Maintain a caseload of 25-30 clinical hours/week • Provide individual, group, and/or couples/family counseling specializing in sex addiction treatment • Maintain thorough, timely, and accurate client records • Provide psychoeducation lectures and networking as needed • Attend monthly staff and case consultation meetings Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • MA/MS or Ph.D./PsyD in Clinical Psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling, or a related field • Registered and/or licensed to practice psychotherapy in Iowa • CSAT (Certified Sex Addiction Therapist) or willing to pursue certification • Clinical interest in sex and sexuality, addiction, and trauma • A high degree of presence and confidence in the room • Ability to provide clinical containment for individuals and couples in crisis • Expertise working with couples and groups • Specialized training in trauma treatment (various trauma modalities appropriate) • Comfort providing psychoeducation and directive interventions PREFERABLE QUALIFICATIONS: • ASPATS or CPTT trained betrayal trauma certification for working with partners of sex addicts, or willing to pursue certification • Addiction/recovery experience and 12-step knowledge Compensation: $60 - $75 hourly
