MLR Healthcare is excited to partner with our trusted client to recruit a Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist generalist for their hospital laboratory
Shifts Available:
- Evenings and nights, with a $5 night shift differential
As an MT/MLT, you will conduct laboratory tests that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Your responsibilities will include supporting the collection, processing, and analysis of tests ordered by physicians, as well as managing quality control, calibration, and maintenance of all laboratory instruments. Medical Technologists will be skilled in recognizing the interdependencies of tests and understanding physiological factors that may impact test results, assisting physicians in determining the presence, extent, and potential causes of diseases.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science with Board Certification or eligibility to complete registry within six (6) months of employment.
- Current CPR certification is preferred.
- ASCP or AMT Certification as MT/MLS or MLT.
