Join our team and grow with us We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Development Platform Engineer Summer Intern to join our dynamic engineering team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our core applications and services. As a Platform Engineer Intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers, contributing to critical projects that enhance the stability, scalability, and security of our platform. In this role, you will be involved in automating infrastructure processes, optimizing our CI/CD pipelines, and supporting cloud environment management. You'll gain practical knowledge in modern DevOps practices, cloud computing, and infrastructure as code, while developing and maintaining internal tools that improve our operational efficiency. This position is ideal for someone passionate about technology and eager to learn in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Our Summer Internship is full-time program (40 hours per week) running from June - August 2024 (specific dates vary by office location). Please note, at this time PitchBook does not provide relocation assistance for our internships. Primary Job Responsibilities: Assist in infrastructure automation: Support the team in automating infrastructure deployment and management processes using tools like Terraform or Kubernetes Monitor system performance: Collaborate with senior engineers to monitor and analyze system performance, helping to identify and troubleshoot issues in real-time Contribute to CI/CD pipelines: Participate in the development and optimization of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of code Support cloud environment management: Assist in managing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including provisioning resources, managing security, and optimizing costs Develop and maintain internal tools: Help in developing, maintaining, and documenting internal tools that improve engineering productivity and operational efficiency Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors Participate in various co
