Pay: $21.10 - $23.60 per hour (depending on related experience)

Sign-on Bonus for Eligible OMH Community Residence Positions

Full time positions are now eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus, $500 every 3 months for one year. Part time positions are now eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus, $250 every 3 months for one year. New hires, rehires, and transfers are eligible for this sign-on bonus. (ELIGIBLE POSITIONS: Supervising Senior Counselor, Senior Counselor, Counselor, Senior Counselor/Family Support Specialist, Recreation Specialist)

Nature of Work:

This position is responsible for assuring that program youths are adequately supervised and cared for in a safe and therapeutic manner. Responsible for the day to day Supervision of Senior Counselors/Counselors and Recreation Specialist.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a human services related field is required. Supervisory experience in a child/adolescent serving program is strongly preferred.
  • Requires a valid drivers' license that meets insurability guidelines to operate agency owned vehicles.
  • Must meet the requirements of the School Age Care, Day Care, and/or Mental Health Regulations regarding a State Central Register Clearance regarding history of abuse/maltreatment of children and Criminal History Review for criminal convictions.
