Snyder & Associates' St. Joseph, MO office has an immediate opening for an experienced CAD Technician/Designer to work in the creation of detailed drawing and construction plan preparation in civil, transportation and utilities engineering projects.
The successful candidate will have a professional and positive attitude with a strong work ethic; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and the flexibility to work both with a team or independently.
Responsibilities- Develop and prepare engineering drawings using practical design knowledge for transportation projects
- Work closely with engineers and other designers to ensure coordinated projects
- Compile data and perform calculations required for preparation of plans and drawings.
- Assist with hydraulic analysis of storm sewer systems
- Prepare consistent plans and engineering drawings.
- 2+ years experience civil engineering/infrastructure plan production
- AutoCAD experience required
- Associate's Degree in CAD preferred or Certificate in Drafting, or an acceptable level of CAD training.
