About this Role

Procurement Specialist

If you enjoy working with a great group of professionals, are accurate, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy using your construction and organizational skills, then we have a role for you Potelco, Inc seeks a great Procurement Specialist to join the team in Hubbard, OR.  

The pay for this role is a range of $34-$40/hour. 

What You'll Do
  • Working with bills of materials within the High-Voltage industry.
  • Communication with vendors for all materials.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and clients as needed.
  • Flag any projects that are at risk due to materials and procurement.
  • Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, subcontractors, or engineers to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.
  • Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with constructing or maintaining structures, facilities, or systems.
  • Execute corrective actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies
  • Other duties and tasks, as assigned.
What You'll Bring

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to write business correspondence and communicate effectively..
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other managers, clients, and customers.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite, with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • High-voltage powerline industry experience.
  • Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening(s).
  • Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  •  Associate’s or bachelor’s degree or relevant experience is preferred.
