13 week contract - RCIS or ARRT; Flexible start and end times; EOW; EOH; Call: Based on department needs - 12+ days per month with rotating weekends, Holidays covered by call; requires minimum of 1 year of cath lab tech experience; may need to float to sites within 40 miles if needed

Department: Cardiac Cath Labs Anc

Shift timings: 07:00 - 16:00 Hours Monday to Friday

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.
  • Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure.
  • Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies.
  • Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • BLS and ACLS
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Requires a minimum of two years of current Cardiac Cath Lab Radiology Technologist experience.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech program
  • Active unencumbered Cardiac Cath Lab Radiology Tech Wisconsin state license
  • One year of Epic experience
