Position: Special Events Associate

Job Summary:

The Special Events Associate is expected to provide a First-Class interaction with each client and guest. This position will assist with the sales process, prospecting, content creation, and representing Insignia Event Services at various events. This role is essential to ensuring the successful promotion and communication of our brand to prospects, clients, and the public, both online and in-person. The Special Events Associate is a key position to our operations and event experience and reports to the Marketing Manager.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Identify new leads, conduct prospect research, and initiate contact with potential clients.
  • Maintain consistent communication with leads through follow-up calls, emails, and personalized outreach to nurture relationships and drive conversions.
  • Assist with editing and organizing visuals such as photography or video for social media and marketing collateral.
  • Provide hands on support on event days including setup and teardown and engaging with the community.
  • Assist with general administrative duties.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to prioritize event requests and customers' needs using good judgment and critical thinking.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain a consistent brand voice across multiple channels.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously amid demanding deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of excel and additional Microsoft programs.
  • Preferred knowledge or experience with CRM System
  • Preferred knowledge or experience with Salesforce

What we are looking for:

  • Ability to answer phones and use the website chat feature
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work outside in extreme temperature fluctuations and around excessive noise.
  • Welcoming and enthusiastic energy when interacting with guests, clients and teammates.
  • Other duties as assigned
