A Junior Systems Analyst collaborates with departments to gather and document system requirements. They analyze existing systems to pinpoint areas of enhancement and assist in designing new or improved systems. Their role involves creating technical documentation, participating in testing phases, provide coding expertise and offering implementation support.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop cross-department partnership to understand business requirements of projects.
  • Document support requirements with technical writing, use cases and flow/sequence diagrams
  • Participate in technical design discussions to ensure design meets requirements
  • Assist QA and UAT teams support understanding of requirements, review test cases and ensure all scenarios are covered
  • Proficiency in basic UML diagrams (use case, interaction, sequence) to document projects
  • Support management of internal and external projects through development, testing and deployment by aligning teams, expectations and addressing requirement related questions
  • Provide update to key stakeholders on progress and identify delays or risks with potential solutions
  • Be highly motivated and flexible to collaborate closely with a diverse group of internal and external partners

Qualifications:

  • ****Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering or related field

  • Basic understanding of programming languages and database management.

  • Familiarity with methodologies for systems analysis, design, and implementation.

  • Knowledge of relevant tools used in systems analysis and project management.

  • Ability to break down complex problems and develop logical solutions.

  • Strong attention to detail in analyzing all elements of a system.

  • Capability to critically evaluate and recommend various solutions.

  • Proficiency in documenting requirements, creating reports, and writing technical documentation.

  • Skill in communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate strong innate curiosity, consistently seeking to understand underlying reasons and explore new solutions

  • Ability to challenge, advocate and effectively communicate new ideas or improvement to others
