Job Title: Test Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Technician with a knack for electronic components. You will need to demonstrate proficiency in using hand tools and general test equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscope, power supplies, etc. Your role will require a basic understanding of operating DMMs to verify possible opens, shorts, resistance, and diode checks. The ability to read and comprehend schematics, drawings, assembly prints, procedures, specifications, and other documentation is vital. You will need to comply with quality assurance policies and methodologies, possess an understanding of IPC quality and workmanship standards, and develop a strong quality orientation. We encourage employees to be open to training on new equipment and cross-training into other site operations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective interpersonal skills, multitasking abilities, organization, prioritization skills, and high attention to detail are paramount for this role.

Hard Skills

  • Proficiency in using hand tools and general test equipment

  • Understanding of operating DMMs

  • Ability to read and understand schematics, drawings, assembly prints, procedures, specifications

  • Knowledge of IPC quality and workmanship standards

  • PCB-debugging down to the component, testing

  • Circuit boards knowledge

  • Electronics experience

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Huntsville, Alabama.

Work Environment

This position will be a 2nd shift position working from 3:00pm-12:00am
