Overview

MSA has an opportunity for a Project Engineer Water at our St. Paul, MN office location. The position will primarily support Wastewater and/or Potable Water projects in the Midwest. You will have the opportunity to see, and contribute in, projects from start to finish. The various projects you'll be working on make a significant and positive impact on the communities you serve.

Responsibilities

The work you may do
    • Project management including project planning, scoping, budgeting and QA/QC
    • Client relations
    • Design of wastewater infrastructure projects
    • Assist with mentoring junior engineering staff
    • Preparation of plans, details, specifications, and bidding documents
      Preparation of technical reports and regulatory permits for projects
    • Development of project funding packages with assistance from funding staff
    • Shared learning in a collaborative work environment
Qualifications

What you bring
Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or revelated degree required
  • 4+ years of civil engineering experience supporting Water/Wastewater projects required, preferably in a consulting firm
  • PE required, MN preferred
  • Previous client liaison and project management experience or a desire to step into that role is required
  • The selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future. We are unable to provide or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this role.
