Responsibilities:

  • Receive materials form domestic/Int'l suppliers this includes unloading material from containers and trailers
  • Cross check invoices with physical count
  • Check POs and communicate to our purchasing dept.
  • Monitor operation of powered industrial trucks and perform maintenance as needed
  • Perform an initial walk-around of your forklift to ensure that it is in good working order before operating it, and reporting any problems or irregularities to maintenance
  • Stack, package, label, and prepare material for shipment or movement to next operation
  • Load and unload pallets and other materials from shelves while using a an inventory based scanning system
  • Palletizing and un-palletizing material
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Powered Industrial Truck operator certification or the ability to be certified within one week
  • Experience operating a forklift for a minimum of 6 consecutive months
  • Experience with multiple forklift types (sit-down, stand-up, cherry-picker, clamp and reach) preferred
  • Experience in both loading/unloading as well as in placing product in warehouse racks preferred
  • Inventory management scanning systems
  • SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Computer skills
