Monday through Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm
Friday 8:00am to12:00pm

No call or no weekends - rotating holidays

Provide support to radiology technologists, and the mammography area in printing images, cleaning activities, assisting and transporting patients when necessary, and general operations in the department
Essential Qualifications: Hospital experience preferred.

Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.

Training: Three months on-the-job training.

License/Certification:. none required

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Command of verbal and written English.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Positive Interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to scan and use various office equipment.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
  • Prefer 1-3 years experience.
  • Prefer familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Hospital experience
  • Computer and office equipment experience
  • PACS experience
Essential Job Functions:
  • Acts as a liaison between mammography staff, radiologists, and the ultrasound department.
  • Imports/Sends for patient outside breast imaging studies.
  • Uploads images and outside reports to PACS.
  • Assists lead mammographer with Breast conference and follows up on pathology.
  • Runs schedules and creates daily work lists for the physicians and staff.
  • Folds daily reminder letters.
  • Schedules all mammograms screening and diagnostics and procedures as required.

Ability to push, pull, lift 25 pounds or greater to assist patients with ambulation and transport.
