The Assistant Nurse Manager - Pulmonary/Renal performs coordination, planning, administrative management, financial and operational duties in collaboration with the Administrative Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Manager and Assistant Vice President of Specialty Nursing Division. They provide leadership for direct patient care provided by specialty nursing unit staff and ensure competent, compassionate patient care is uniformly provided to customers. The Assistant Nurse Manager supports the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programs and services consistent with the hospital's mission and departmental/unit vision and philosophy. This role may require access to sensitive information, and workforce members are expected to ensure that information is adequately protected from unauthorized access and modification.
