Job Title: Stand up Forklift Operator/BG Friendly Job Description We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating Crown Stand Up Reach, Stand Up Forklift, and Reach Truck in a fast-paced warehouse environment, particularly in food manufacturing. Responsibilities include material handling, shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks, inventory management, and cycle counting. Responsibilities Operate Crown Stand Up Reach, Stand Up Forklift, and Reach Truck. Handle materials, including shipping and receiving tasks. Load and unload trucks efficiently. Manage inventory and perform cycle counting. Work in a freezer environment as needed. Utilize RF scanners for picking and inventory tasks. Essential Skills Experience with stand up forklifts and reach trucks. Proficiency in shipping and receiving operations. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Material handling skills. Experience with picking and using RF scanners. Inventory management skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to move with production demands. Willingness to work in a freezer environment when necessary. Why Work Here? Our team is supportive and values hard work and dedication. Work Environment The facility is a large operation with over 400 employees working across two shifts. The site includes multiple loading docks and handles a variety of tasks including sizing, splitting, cutting, frying, and freezing chicken for customers. Forklift operators will spend most of their day in a freezer environment but will receive a 10-minute break every hour to step away from the cold. We have openings for both 1st shift (7 AM to 3:30 PM) and 2nd shift (4:30 PM to 1:30 AM), with some flexibility in start times.
