We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our home health care team. In this role, you will administer physical therapy treatments, document patient records, and provide essential support to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist
  • Perform therapeutic exercises, massage, and modalities for patients
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient records and submit clinical paperwork on time
  • Attend educational meetings and contribute to department in-services
  • Assist with scheduling and varied office tasks
  • Apply concepts of infection control and universal precautions
  • Promote compliance with fiscal intermediaries and third-party payors

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association
  • Current state license to practice Physical Therapy
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Proof of current CPR certification
  • Minimum two years experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
