ARRT - Radiology Tech

A respected hospital located outside Fredericksburg, Texas, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our imaging team. This role is essential for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and other modalities as required.
  • Ensure that all imaging equipment is functioning correctly and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare patients for examinations by explaining the procedure and addressing any concerns.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of all imaging procedures performed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to interpret images and support patient care.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of imaging services.
ARRT - Radiology Tech Qualifications:
  • Education: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Certification: Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
