Position Information:
  • Serve as Paraeducator - Long-Term Replacement
  • Early Childhood Special Education - Early Learning - 4 year old preschool classroom
  • Monday - Friday 7:50am - 3:05pm
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must pass local Academic Proficiency Exam or have taken at least 60 hours semester credits at post-secondary level
  • Preferred experience working with children of differing abilities
  • Preferred experience working with individuals with emotional, behavioral learning challenges, learning differences, and functional skills needs.
  • Must possess good organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team approach
  • CPR and First Aid training / certification preferred
  • Educational qualifications: Equivalent of 2 years of college (AA degree) or passing score on Para Pro (460)
