Join us at Calo Programs in Lake Ozark, Missouri where our team of therapists, academic staff, Golden Retrievers, and Behavioral Health Associates offer treatment, guidance, and support to teenagers who are struggling with their mental health. This includes multi-modal family system approaches to amplify and solidify healthy change for the individual, as well as with their family.
Our Behavioral Health Associates make a meaningful difference in the lives of teenagers in need of compassionate care and support. We are seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about promoting mental wellness and providing support to teenagers and their families facing dynamic challenges back at home.
As a Behavioral Health Associate, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe and supportive environment for our clients to grow, develop and apply transferable coping skills, and reconnect with peers, themselves, and their families using our proven and effective therapeutic approach.

Responsibilities
- Ensure Client Safety
o Provide early intervention ahead of and during emotional and behavioral crises
o Maintain personal and professional boundaries
- Align and Operate within the Treatment Team's Approach for Each Client
o Communicate and collaborate with supervisors and clinicians regarding client issues and notable progress
o Document client progress notes daily
- Provide Quality and Engaging Client Services
o Coach and develop client social skills
o Plan and facilitate client activities in art, music, yoga, fitness, and a variety of other on and off campus activities
- Grow and Develop with the Residential Team
o Integrate specialized trainings
o Enjoy and contribute to ongoing professional development and growth
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work or related field preferred, but not required.
- 21+ years of age or older
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Able to pass criminal investigation background check
- Ability to effectively communicate and build healthy relationships.
- Sitting/standing - employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Walking - employee may be required to walk considerable distance during the workday
- Carrying - employee may be required to carry objects in his or her arms and must have full mobility of arms to perform Safe Crisis Management (SCM)
- Lifting - employee may be required to raise and lower students from one level to another during the shift and must be able to lift 45 lbs. to perform SCM
- Stooping and crouching - employee is required to bend forward at the waist and/or kneel to perform SCM
- Climbing stairs - employee must be able to climb stairs
