We are seeking a Speech Language Pathology Clincal Fellow to:
  • Work clinically and academically with a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians and speech language pathologists within the Pediatric Inpatient specialty.
  • Work in a cutting-edge clinical environment at multiple locations throughout UW Health Systems.
  • Provide diagnostics, instrumental and non-instrumental assessment, and treatment for Speech-Language Pathology patients within the relevant specialty area
  • Receive ongoing mentorship from UW Health's teams of experienced, knowledgeable, highly skilled core staff Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Be involved with clinical research and continuing education.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders Required
Work Experience
  • In the process of obtaining a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Required
  • Practicum (student) experience in a medical setting Preferred
  • Research experience during graduate school Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Wisconsin state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellow Required
  • Certification in Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automatic External Defibrillator Required
