We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for oral health and patient care, along with expertise in dental procedures and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Perform dental charting and maintain patient records
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Qualifications:
- Certification or Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene
- State licensure as a Dental Hygienist
- Knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and medical documentation
- Experience with medical imaging software (e.g., Dentrix)
- Understanding of infection control protocols in a dental setting
- Previous work experience in a dental office or clinic
