We are seeking a skilled Epic Cogito Analyst to join our team and play a key role in transforming healthcare data into actionable insights. This is a long term contract working Pacific Time zone, remotely. You will be responsible for leveraging expertise to develop, implement, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions that support clinical, financial, and operational decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and a collaborative mindset to ensure effective delivery of data solutions in alignment with organizational goals. This is a temp to perm position in the San Mateo County region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, test, and deploy Epic Cogito components, including dashboards, reports, and data extracts.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing analytics solutions to ensure reliability and accuracy.
  • Partner with stakeholders, including clinical, operational, and financial teams, to understand analytics needs and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Conduct requirements-gathering sessions and refine deliverables based on feedback.
  • Work with Epic Clarity and Caboodle data models to ensure seamless integration and data quality across systems.
  • Adhere to data governance standards and best practices for maintaining the integrity and security of sensitive information.
  • Monitor system performance and optimize analytics solutions to meet evolving organizational demands.
  • Identify and resolve issues impacting data availability, timeliness, and quality.
  • Provide training and technical support to end-users on Epic Cogito tools and capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical designs, workflows, and user guides.
  • Stay current with Epic updates, enhancements, and emerging analytics trends to recommend and implement improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Epic Cogito certification required. Epic Clarity and Caboodle certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Epic Cogito development and analytics.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database management.
  • Experience with Epic data models (Clarity, Caboodle) and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
