Job Description:

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Jump start your career in the mental health field as a Psychosocial Educator. Work within a team environment to provide clinical psychoeducation to Centerstone eligible program participants. Provide group and individual learning activities and support and complete appropriate documentation for all job requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a caseload of program participants to include completing program assessments, maintaining progress notes, and care plans in the stated timeframes.
  • Attend bi-weekly clinical supervision meetings with clinical supervisor and maintain credentialing status for employment.
  • Ability to facilitate and co-facilitate psychosocial groups and activities with program participants.
  • Documentation to be completed according to standards and agency policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate consistently the ability to relate to clients in a culturally appropriate manner.
Use behavioral health management techniques, crisis intervention, active listening and motivational interviewing to help clients develop better life management skills.

  • Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
