The Maintenance Plumber (the Plumber) performs scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, and site surveys, and responds to, diagnoses and resolves plumbing emergencies. The Plumber is skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade and completes light construction work as required. This position requires knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices. This position requires the ability to read and follow blueprints, rough drawings, building plans and repair manuals. The Plumber requires familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper. Aptitudes: Demonstrated ability to effectively and creatively solve problems without immediate supervision and at times unassisted.
