DescriptionPRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Transport residents to dining room and activities.
- Interact with residents such as but not limited to playing cards, games, etc.
- Clean wheelchairs after meals, as needed.
- Follow facility safety policies and procedures.
- Follow residents' rights policies and procedures.
- Abide by NMMC Code of Conduct.
- Report any concerns expressed by the residents and/or their families to the charge nurse.
- Attend facility required meetings and in-services to comply with federal, state and local regulations.
- Complete assignments in an accurate and timely fashion
- Observe facility policies and procedures.
- Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner.
- Work as a member of the Forest Hill team to help reinforce a culture of safety in the Department and organization wide.
- Responsible for patient and employee safety as it applies to their work environment.
- Any other non-patient care tasks as directed by Charge Nurse.
- Report any resident who seems to be in pain to nurse immediately.
EDUCATIONAL LEVEL: High school diploma or equivalent or working toward high school diploma.
JOB QUALIFICATION:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must display maturity.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Good physical and emotional health
- Must display compassion and respect towards others.
- Must be able to achieve CPR certification.
- Follow established procedures.
- Follow appropriate schedules.
