Veterinary Dentist

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced veterinary dentist to join our team in Oceanside, New York. The candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to our patients, including performing dental procedures such as extractions, root canal therapy, periodontal treatment, and restorations.

Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive oral examinations and develop treatment plans for dental disease

- Perform dental procedures including extractions, root canal therapy, periodontal treatment, and restorations

- Educate clients on the importance of dental care and provide recommendations for at-home care

- Work collaboratively with other veterinarians and support staff to provide the best care for patients

- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate with clients regarding patient treatments and progress

Requirements

Qualifications:

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited institution

- Completion of a veterinary dentistry residency program or equivalent experience

- Board certification in veterinary dentistry preferred

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
