Acts is currently seeking qualified CNA candidates for the role of Therapeutic Activities Assistant in our skilled nursing Memory Care neighborhood.

The Therapeutic Assistant provides resident activities mainly in a dementia neighborhood (Special Care Program) by providing direct activities or leading other CNA's in group activities, while also providing resident activities of daily living as needed by the residents - these include toileting, feeding, grooming, and ambulation. If certain staffing levels requires on a given day for additional support then a full CNA assignment will be given to the therapeutic assistant.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
  • Completion of a current state Certification for Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Minimum of six months experience within the geriatric healthcare field
  • Dementia care experience is preferred

Pay Range

$16.80 - $20.65 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
