Software Program Manager

Description: Our company is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Global Revenue Operations team. This role involves partnering with a program manager to facilitate the integration of an acquisition, ensuring that the Commercial team, processes, and systems are ready for effective selling, fulfillment, and support of the acquired products and services. The Senior Project Manager will handle key activities within both the project management and software development lifecycles. General project management tasks will include creating project charters, schedules, risk and issue logs, status reports, and organizing meetings such as requirement gathering sessions and change management plans. Specific software development tasks will involve preparing for Agile/Scrum sprint planning and facilitating user acceptance testing. To achieve these objectives, the Senior Project Manager will primarily work with the Global Revenue Operations team but will also collaborate with other departments within and outside the Commercial organization, such as Sales, Service, GIS/IT, Product Development, and Quality/Compliance. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Skills: program management, software development lifecycle, agile, scrum methodology, PMP, project planning, business case development, Jira, risk mitigation Additional Skills & Qualifications: Preferred Skills and Background : Proficiency in developing program and project plans, including detailed timelines with durations, dependencies, critical paths, and milestones. A deep understanding of project management activities, including discovery, stakeholder alignment, implementation, and follow-up. Ability to develop business cases to justify investments for specific requirements and support prioritization. Effective communication skills with individual contributors, mid-level managers, and senior leaders. Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting. Experience in identifying project risks and creating mitigation plans. Proficiency in MS Office, Jira, and collaboration and remote working tools. Experience Level: Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
