Chancellor's Village is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to join our CNA to Medication Aide Program. Qualified CNAs will be provided with free training along with the necessary tools to become a Certified Medication Aide. At Navion our Certified Nursing Assistants are responsible for delivering high quality resident care and support in a high-quality, cutting-edge senior living community. This is a CNA to Medication Aide Certified track position, meaning the applicant is expected to be able to pass the class and function as a medication aide.
Full-Time shifts available.
1st shift: 7:30am to 4:00pm
2nd shift: 3:30pm to 12:00am
3rd shift: 11:30pm to 8:00am
Requirements
- Active CNA license in good standing
- 1-year minimum experience as a CNA, employed for a continuous 365 days in a SNF, ALF, or PACE
- No more than two jobs as a CNA over the last 365 days
Addition requirements
- Dedication to and passion to serve seniors with excellent customer service skills
- Positive attitude, the flexibility to perform various duties in service to the residents and the ability to work in a team environment are keys to success
- High School diploma/GED accepted and may be required per state regulations
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred
- Ability to make choices, decisions and act in the resident’s best interest
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and a level of understanding
- Competent in organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
