JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Cardiac Unit Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will independently plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in accordance with standards of care, policy, and procedure. You will provide direct nursing care, assume teaching and leadership responsibilities, and participate in shared decision making and quality improvement activities. The ideal candidate will be committed to promoting health and safety through patient education and will demonstrate ethical and competent nursing practice.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- All new to practice RN will be placed into the RN Residency Program.
- Intermediate computer knowledge: Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
