Your role as a Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at The Rivers At Maryland Farms in Brentwood, TN, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the well-being of our residents. Your day-to-day tasks will include monitoring vital signs, updating patient records, and assisting with activities of daily living. You will also have the opportunity to build relationships with residents and their families, providing compassionate care and support. Additionally, as a new LPN, you will receive training and guidance to help you excel in your role and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality care with empathy and professionalism.

To excel as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at The Rivers At Maryland Farms in Brentwood, TN, you must have graduated from an accredited program for an LVN/LPN and hold a current state license.

With at least one year of nursing experience in a healthcare setting, including working with geriatric patients and providing emergency care and first aid, you will thrive in this role. It is essential to stay updated with valid Continuing Education credits as required by the State to ensure your skills are current.

Additionally, having training in caring for residents with cognitive impairments, such as Alzheimer's and Dementia, with a focus on Validation Therapy, is highly desirable. Your dedication to learning and growing in your nursing career will make you a valuable asset to our team.
