Position Summary:

Develops and maintains favorable relationships with new and existing clients to increase revenue. Develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales of DDVA products. Ensures that services consistently meet client needs. Responsible for sustaining and renewing client contracts and client accounts. Supports Account Manager in all management aspects of regional book of business.

Location:

This is a remote position. Ideal candidate should be located between Virginia Beach and Richmond, VA. Position does include regular travel in and around the Hampton Roads area.

Essential Functions:
  • Cultivates and nurtures positive relationships with both new and current clients.
  • Engages with existing customers to drive sales growth of DDVA products.
  • Builds and sustains partnerships with essential brokers and strategic allies.
  • Acts as the primary contact for daily customer service inquiries concerning eligibility, billing, claims, supplies, and more.
  • Ensures that brokers and customers are satisfied with the products and services offered.
  • Participates in open enrollment and benefits fairs to present information to clients and members.
  • Contributes to and oversees the development of proposals and benefit materials for key groups.
  • Designs and presents open enrollment sessions and voiceover content to brokers and decision-makers within groups.
  • Ensures the accuracy of client web pages is kept up to date.
  • Coordinates and organizes client events efficiently.
  • Upholds a consistent corporate identity across all products, promotional materials, and events.
  • Keeps track of competitor offerings, sales strategies, and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications/Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of three years related experience in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred.
  • Demonstrated sales and marketing techniques.
  • Effective ability to communicate verbally or in written form effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues.
  • Demonstrated experience leading people and getting results through others.
  • Ability to think and plan strategically for organizational success.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including the ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Work environment: The work is limited to the office environment with occasional trips to other office facilities or locations necessitating walking outdoors or driving. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
