The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Guilderland, located in Altamont, NY, is currently seeking an RN Educator & Infection Control Nurse. The RN Educator is responsible for Staff Development & Infection Control. This position is full-time, primarily during the day shift. Salary is up to $105,000.00 per year with benefits. Educators are eligible for a $7,500.00 sign-on bonus RN Educator Duties Include: Developing & implementing, evidence-based, quality education programs/activities to promote individual development, competency & delivery of high-quality clinical service. Collaborating with management, staff and external partners to assess, integrate, and evaluate educational needs & resources. Developing, reviewing & updating training manuals, policies/procedures, related job aides & clinical pathways. Educating staff in the clinical policies criteria and procedures. Conducting new staff orientation. Conducting quality review audits of clinical team and strategic partners to ensure that company protocols and standards are being met. RN Educator Requirements Include: NY State RN License. Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare or related field. 3-years of clinical experience as a registered nurse preferred.
