​06 - Associate Engineer, Test Manufacturing Req ID: 123989 Region: Americas Country: USA State/Province: Arizona City: Tucson Summary The Associate Engineer, Test Manufacturing accepts, transfers, installs, improves and maintains automatic test equipment and test programs that are used for product testing and design verification. They also may support the test development of the test equipment and processes to ensure robust and high quality test solutions and final products are realized. Detailed Description Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following: Under supervision and with assistance develop, qualify, and install test applications into manufacturing operations. Optimize the Test process focusing on productivity improvements to cycle time and yield Debug of solutions provided by external vendors or customers based on training supplied Assist with test optimization based on feedback from customers and operations partners based on a solid unstinting of the test coverage, diagnosability, reparability, firmware/diagnostics and user experience. Maintain with minimal supervision, the continuing performance of the Testers and participate in the OEE improvement plans, yield and test time optimization. Knowledge/Skills/Competencies STRUCTURAL TEST OPERATIONS : ESD Controls, Component Module Programming, Auto Wire Prep, SMT Data Analytics, API, AOI (PCBA), AXI (PCBA), Flying Probe, Backplane Test, ICT Equipment Maintenance, ICT Engineering Technical Support, 3070 and Teradyne ICT Test Development Applications and Models Development, Functional / System Test Solution Support, RF Test Operations, Test Fixture, Boundary Scan, Test Strategy Creation, Test Plan Creation, FT Software Development, IPC-610, Engineering Controls & System Tools, Quality Data (KPI), Supplier Quality and Component Engineering, Manufacturing Operational Management, DFM - Manufacturing, DFA - Assembly, DFT - Physical Test , DFT - Electrical Test Physical Demands Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment. Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required. Occasional travel may be required.
