Passionate about teaching the lifesaving skill of swimming? We are looking for individuals, age 16+ to serve as swim instructors. As a swim instructor, you develop important skills such as communication, leadership and responsibility that will serve you for a lifetime

What is needed for this job:

• Experience with kids and passionate about teaching children to swim
• Ability to pass American Red Cross CPR Certification
• Age 16+
• Ability to complete our in-water skills assessment

The responsibilities we will trust you with:

• Working with groups and individuals to help them achieve their swim-skill goals
• Ensuring that lessons are conducted in accordance with the YMCA's internal lesson plans and policies
• Ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for the students to thrive in
