Job Summary

This role is responsible for fostering strong, productive relationships between the enterprise and specific affinity groups, primarily within the Southern Baptist Convention. This role requires strategic planning and leadership to address the unique needs of affinity group leadership, churches, and constituents. Key responsibilities include:
  • Establishing positive and productive relationships with the affinity group's leadership.
  • Understanding the needs and challenges of the affinity group's leaders, churches, and members.
  • Developing strategic plans to deliver comprehensive solutions to the affinity group.
  • Strengthening ongoing partnerships with ministry partners and members.
  • Monitoring and reporting on ministry partner satisfaction by tracking all actions and activities, providing timely updates to the team.
What You'll Do

Strategic Leadership in Relationship Management:
  • Develop and implement a strategic contact plan that aligns with the affinity group's unique goals, building and nurturing relationships with its leadership.
  • Identify new opportunities while enhancing existing relationships, ensuring excellent service delivery to the affinity group's ministry partners and members.
  • Establish clear objectives, provide regular updates to executive leadership, and attend review meetings to deepen relationships.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate across departments like enterprise sales, relationship management, marketing, product development, IT, data analytics, and denominational relations to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • Coordinate with departments across the insurance line of business and GuideStone to advocate for ministries, solve escalated cases, and deliver solutions to ministry partners.
  • Track key performance measures, analyze department performance indicators, and develop improvement strategies to meet reporting requirements.
Ministry Partner Relationship Management:
  • Manage onboarding and escalations, ensuring seamless integration into the team service model.
  • Engage with specialists and partners to identify and fulfill ministry partners' needs.
Mission Advocacy:
  • Represent the organization with integrity, embodying its mission and values.
  • Identify and secure potential institutional ministry partners aligned with organizational goals.
  • Raise awareness of Mission: Dignity among ministry partners and within affinity groups.
Measures of Success:
  • Increase in meaningful engagements and positive outcomes with affinity group leaders.
  • Successful implementation of strategic contact plans leading to higher ministry partner satisfaction.
  • Effective resolution of escalations, minimizing churn and optimizing retention rates.
  • Cross-functional collaboration resulting in timely delivery of comprehensive solutions.
  • Increased awareness of Mission: Dignity, with measurable growth in ministry partner involvement.
Supervisory Responsibilities and/or Relationships
  • No direct people management responsibilities
