Schedule: 4 days/week, 7:00am - 5:00pm

On-Call: One week night per week, one weekend every 6 weeks

Duties & Responsibilities:

The role of the Advanced PracticeProvider is to provide Family Practice Medicine in our Rural Health Clinics,hospital Inpatient suites and Emergency Department. This position will serve as aprimary care provider for preventative care, evaluation of new complaints,routine recurring visits for chronic illnesses, inpatient care and emergencies when clinicallyindicated. Responsible for discriminating between normal and abnormalfindings to recognize early stages of serious physical, emotional, or mentalhealth problems. Works to achieve positive outcome measures based onstate and federal mandates and financial incentives.

Experience Required:
  • Successful completionof an approved Nurse Practitioner program, or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Currentstate license to practice as a Physician Assistant; or current state RN licenseand possession of a current Nurse Practitioner Certification required
  • Previous experience related to themanagement of inpatients and ED care preferred
