Now Hiring - Clinical Dietician - Livingston, NJ

Hours: Full-time 9-5pm

The Clinical Dietician is responsible for, but not limited to:
  1. Through the continuous improvement of standards of practice and by providing a safe and secure environment the customer will be assured a sense of safety and well-being, free from risk and harm.
  2. Interprets physician's diet orders, giving consideration to family practices and economic status.
  3. Discuss changes in the patient's status regarding diet with physician.
  4. Assess patient's nutritional needs as related to medical and socioeconomic status, home and family resources.
  5. Identify patient's dietary needs and develop a plan of care and long and short term goals to meet those needs.
  6. Instruct the patient and family members on the prescribed nutritional regimen.
  7. Consult with Agency staff on changes in patient status.
  8. Document according to Agency Policy.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field

Professional Experience:
  • Registered Dietician with the State of New Jersey
  • Completed a Dietetic Internship
  • Community and/or Home Care experience preferred
