Overview: As a Warehouse Associate in our tire warehouse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently handling tires, organizing inventory, and supporting various warehouse activities. You'll work in a dynamic environment that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and teamwork to meet operational goals and customer demands. Responsibilities: Receive, unload, and stock tires from delivery trucks. Safely move and stack tires using appropriate equipment. Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular stock checks, reconciling discrepancies, and updating inventory systems. Organize tires in designated storage areas based on size, brand, and type to facilitate easy retrieval. Prepare orders for shipment by picking the correct tires according to customer specifications and packing them securely for transport. Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed to ensure timely delivery. Inspect incoming and outgoing tires for damage, defects, or irregularities. Report any issues to supervisors and follow proper procedures for returning or disposing of defective products. Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free by sweeping floors, removing debris, and maintaining aisles and storage areas. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Work collaboratively with other warehouse associates and departments to prioritize tasks, coordinate activities, and achieve daily operational targets. Communicate effectively to ensure a smooth workflow and address any issues promptly. Qualifications: Previous experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a tire warehouse or automotive environment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if required to operate company vehicles). Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, including tires weighing up to 50 pounds or more. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking. Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols. Flexibility to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions within the warehouse environment.
