Responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Monitors patients, administers medications, keeps records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients and more. Principal Accountabilities: Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports. Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions. Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments. Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions. Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members. Records patient vital signs and medical information. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program BSN Preferred Minimum Experience: 1-2 years of PACU, Critical Care or High Acuity Emergency Room experience required License/Certification: Valid New Jersey Nursing License BLS Required ACLS Required PALS Required (or within 3 months of hire) CPAN or CCRN (Preferred) ABOUT US At Atlantic Health System, our promise to our communities is; Anyone who enters one of our facilities, will receive the highest quality care delivered at the right time, at the right place, and at the right cost.
